St Marys Infants School, held a taste from around the world day at lunch time this week. The children tried foods form America, China and India, enjoying dishes such as Key lime pie and blue berries, Chinese noodles,Spring rolls and Simosas. The school and the children really enjoyed the experience.

The Catering Superviosr at Leighterton Primary School, entered into the Yule Log competion and gained third place, the standard was extremly high and Gloucestershire County Council had a major decision to make in choosing 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Debbie Hughes Area Manager presented Rosheen Winsor with her prize.

Warden Hill is a very large dining centre, catering for 400 meals per day, transported in from another site. The new kitchen was completed this year when the school held a canape reception for the builders and children, the whole occasion was enjoyed by everyone.
